  • 2024-Present, Professor (Assistant), Department of Sociology, Somaiya Vidyavihar 

As a teaching faculty with the Department of Sociology, I teach research methods to final year undergraduate students. In partial fulfillment of their degree, they are required to submit a research project which I guide them to do from scratch. Thus far, I have supported close to 300 such projects across my teaching career.

  • 2023-Present, Resource Person, Indian Association of Women's Studies, University of Ranchi 

In my longstanding association with the IAWS, University of Ranchi, I have spoken to undergraduate students on gender, climate, and media - including a one-day workshop on 'Transgender Lives and Media Ecologies' in 2023.

I facilitate 'Academic Writing and Referencing 101' workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as to budding researchers. I have facilitated workshops across India including the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and the Council for Global Co-operation.

At the Civilisation Seminar, I discussed sex work and the trajectories of urban transformation in Bombay/Mumbai.

I co-ordinated the three-month-long Urban Policy and Local Governance Youth Fellowship at the IMPRI Centre for Habitat, Urban, and Regional Studies (CHURS), IMPRI.

At Claylab, I helped support the academic journey of a young, marginalised student with weekly 1:1 calls, strategic guidance, and resources.

I taught the module 'Exploration of Literary Forms' to undergraduate students of English Literature in the third semester. I picked the readings, selected the texts to be discussed in class, and helped design the syllabus.

​I was a volunteer at the Speaking Cafe in Izmit, Turkey, which is a municipal speaking club that partners with local schools to provide a platform for people to practice English by conversing with others in a casual cafe-like setting. â€‹
